From 70 degrees to snowfall

DENVER — In the span of 24 hours our weather will go from 70-degrees to accumulating snowfall.

It’s classic March weather in Colorado! We’ll get “Chinooked” today with westerly wind gusts to 35mph pushing highs to 70 degrees! Today’s record high is 75 degrees set in 1972.

A potent cold front crashes into the Front Range during the Wednesday AM Rush-Hour. Scattered snow showers will fall Wednesday morning through Thursday morning.

I’m forecasting 1-3 inches of total snowfall with more across the Palmer Divide and Foothills.

Highs plummet into the 30s. We’ll go from t-shirt and shorts to puffy winter jackets and shovels.
