Park Hill’s Chauncey Billups holding annual youth hoops camp

PARKER, Colo. — Local kids have a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with two NBA stars while working on their basketball basics.

Hometown favorite Chauncey Billups will hold his annual basketball camp in Parker next week, and he’s bringing Los Angeles Clippers teammate Chris Paul with him.

Chris Paul is a five-time NBA All-Star whose awards and honors include three-time All-NBA Team, two-time NBA All-Defensive Team, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA All-Rookie First Team, gold medal with Team USA in the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.

The Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy will be held from June 25 to 28 at the Parker Fieldhouse, 18700 E. Plaza Dr. Players ages 6 to 10 meet 9 a.m. to noon and ages 11 to 17 meet from 1 to 4 p.m.

The cost for this basketball academy is $225. Each camper receives a camp T-shirt, a basketball, one personally autographed item from Chauncey Billups and photographs with Chauncey Billups and Chris Paul! There will be a nine to one camper to coach ratio.
