Police launch homicide investigation after man found dead in car

NORTHGLENN, Colo. — Police in Northglenn launched a homicide investigation after a man was shot to death at an apartment complex.

The shooting happened Monday at about 11 a.m. at the Village by the Park Apartments, 10701 Pecos St.

Police said Tuesday the victim, 38-year-old Christopher Garduno of Denver was shot at least once.

Officers found him inside a locked vehicle outside of one of the apartment buildings. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released the name of a suspect.
