DENVER — A storm system brought rain to metro Denver Tuesday night and snow to the higher elevations in Colorado mountains.

Ski areas such as Loveland and Arapahoe Basin both saw some good snow fall Tuesday afternoon.

Wednesday will bring more rain and cool temperatures in the 60s thanks to this slow-moving storm crossing Colorado.

On Thursday the storm lifts out of the area, but a few remaining showers will be possible.

Then we start to dry out and return to 70 degree weather just in time for the weekend.
