DENVER — Police say someone fired a gunshot at President Barack Obama’s campaign field office in Denver Friday afternoon.
There were people inside the building at W. 9th Ave. and Acoma St. when the front window was shot out at about 3 p.m. according to Denver police spokeswoman Raquel Lopez. No one was injured. She did not say how many people were in the office.
Investigators have a possible description of a suspect vehicle, but Lopez says the information would not be released until surveillance video could be checked.
It was not known if the Secret Service was notified. The Obama campaign referred phone calls about the shooting to Denver Police.
