Obama post-debate tour to hit Denver Wednesday

DENVER — President Barack Obama will hold a rally in City Park here Wednesday as part of a two-day post-debate tour that will take him to six swing states, his campaign announced Saturday morning.

Following the final presidential debate in Boca Raton, Florida Monday night, Obama will fly Wednesday to Davenport, Iowa, then to Denver and on to Las Vegas, Nev. for a rally that night, before flying overnight to Tampa, Fla. for a rally and then on to Richmond, Va.

From there, Obama will fly to Chicago to cast his ballot in his hometown before closing out the whirlwind tour with a rally in Cleveland, Ohio.

According to the campaign, Obama will spend his time aboard Air Force One making personal phone calls to undecided voters.

Overall, the tour aims to show a campaign, and a president, working around the clock, connecting with volunteers, supporters and undecided voters and taking no vote for granted.

The details for the City Park rally have not yet been released.

The event will come a day after Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are scheduled to rally some 10,000 supporters at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison at the end of a four-day run of high-profile campaign events the GOP campaign is holding across Colorado.
