Community protests for Chloe, the pit bull fatally shot by officers

DENVER — A rally was held on Saturday in Commerce City for a Chloe, a pit bull mix that was shot and killed by police officers in November.

Officers said the resident called them after an unfamiliar dog was seen wandering around a Commerce City neighborhood. A neighbor managed to catch the whole thing on camera.

While Commerce City police say they had to shoot Chloe because she was being aggressive, some residents disagree, and came out to protest the shooting at Commerce City Hall.
