Photos: Fire destroys one home, damages another in Westminster

WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Two families were displaced after a fire destroyed one Westminster home, and damaged another Saturday night.

Firefighters responded to the 1200 block of 132nd Place at approximately 11:40 p.m. to find one house completely engulfed in flames, and another starting to catch on fire.

There were no residents inside the home that was lost in the fire, according to police.

Two residents managed to evacuate from the second home after the fire spread.

There were no injuries reported from the fire, however one family cat is missing.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
