4 bomb squads involved in federal search warrant at Morrison residence

MORRISON, Colo. — Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agents and four different bomb squads served a federal search warrant on an Morrison home after arresting one of its residents Thursday morning.

According to the ATF, Richard Larence Sandberg, 35, was taken into custody Thursday morning, though agents would not elaborate on the charges he is facing.

Shortly after 10 a.m., bomb squads from ATF, Denver, Jefferson County and Colorado Springs were assisting in search warrant at 4648 South Swadley Way that was related to Sanberg’s arrest. 

The ATF called their search and arrest part of an ongoing investigation with the Denver Police Department.
