Police: Boy accused of sexually assaulting classmate at Thornton Middle School

THORNTON, Colo. — Police say a 14-year-old boy was under arrest Thursday after a report of a sexual assault at Thornton Middle School.

Officers were called to the school at 9451 Hoffman Way when a 14-year-old female said she was forcibly pulled into a bathroom and sexually assaulted by a male classmate.

Thornton police spokesman officer Matt Barnes says both the alleged victim and suspect are students at Thornton Middle School.

The male student was taken into custody for investigation of 1st Degree Sexual Assault. He’s in the Adams County Juvenile Detention Center.
