DENVER — Snow and cold moved back into Denver Thursday.

The metro area isn’t expected to see much accumulation from this little blast of winter. The Foothills could get 1-3″ and the news for skiers and boarders is good. Mountain areas are looking at totals of 6-12″ through Friday.

“On Friday we’ll have a few flurries, but overall the snow will be ending,” Chief Meteorologist Dave Fraser says.

Mostly sunny skies and highs in the 50s are on tap for the weekend. Then more snow is in the forecast for Monday.
