Boulder High School principal arrested on suspicion of domestic violence
BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder High School Principal Kevin Braney has been arrested for investigation of domestic violence.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports police arrested the principal after a confrontation with his wife at the home they share with their children Wednesday night.
He’s under investigation for criminal mischief, domestic violence and child abuse for allowing a child to see the incident according to a police report.
Braney says he and his wife had words about finances. He also told police he did not yell at her nor touch her.
Police say he tore apart a bed frame and damaged other property in the house.
Boulder Valley School District officials say Braney is on paid administrative leave while he deals with personal and health issues.
