Storm brings snow for morning rush hour, warm up on horizon
Denver was being peppered with snow on the morning of March 12, 2013, though it wasn't expected to last long.
DENVER — The snow is back, and you can expect it to last through the Tuesday morning rush hour across the front range, with roads that are wet and slushy.
The snow should end around 8 a.m., and as it does, I’m expecting some sunshine this afternoon, although temperatures will be cooler with highs in the mid 40s.
The mountains can expect a few snow showers Tuesday, as well, especially near Eisenhower Tunnel. The snow should end later this morning in the high country with partly-cloudy skies and highs in the 30s and 40s this afternoon.
The best news? Sunshine and warmer temperatures in the 60s and even 70s will arrive later this week! I’m forecasting a high of 72 on Friday with sunshine.
Right now most of Saturday looks good but a few rain showers are expected to arrive late in the day. Expect highs around 60 Saturday, and a high of 59 mixed with partly-cloudly skies on Sunday.
