LONGMONT, Colo. — The 20-year-old man who was discovered floating in the Oligarchy Ditch at Lanyon Park Thursday night has been identified.

Boulder County Coroner Emma Hall said the man is Manuel Garcia-Silva of Longmont. Hall did not release any more information, and said the autopsy has been completed and the “cause and manner of death are pending further investigation.”

According to the Longmont Times-Call, witnesses told police they saw a man strip naked and run around the morning Garcia-Silva was found dead.

Longmont Police Cmdr. Jeff Satur said witnesses saw the man sometime after the bars closed early Thursday morning, the paper reported.

Police said there were no signs of trauma on the man’s body, and they are investigating whether he suffered from a medical condition or a reaction to drugs.
