Building partially collapses in Highlands
DENVER — A building that was under construction partially collapsed Tuesday night.
It happened at 2727 W. 33rd Ave. near Decatur St. Firefighters on the scene say the collapse also damaged a neighbor’s fence.
Reports from the scene indicate it’s a 4-story building undergoing renovation.
Emergency personnel went into the structure to see if there was anyone inside.
The workers had already left for the day and there were no reports of injuries.
The collapse unit was called to the scene to stabilize the structure.
