Police ID north Denver homicide suspect
DENVER — Police have identified the a suspect involved in a homicide that took place in the northern part of Denver Tuesday night.
Officers said Zachary Cooper, 25, is being held for investigation of first degree murder in the case.
Police responded to the 2800 block of Adams Street Tuesday, where a man was pronounced dead and another man was in police custody.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said officers responded to a call of an assault, but he did not elaborate about how the victim was killed.
Investigators did not say anything about the relationship between Cooper and the victim.
