Dave Matthews, The Fray will attend flooding benefit concert
DENVER — Big name bands will be attending a concert later this month to benefit victims of the September flooding.
Dave Matthews, The Fray, Big Head Todd, The Monsters, The Lumineers, DeVotchKa and Nathaniel Rateliff will perform at the concert Oct. 27. It will be held at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield.
Tickets run between $65 and $125 and go on sale at noon on Friday. You can go online to TicketHorse.com or call 866-461-6556.
All proceeds from the concert will go directly to LiveUnitedColorado.org, which was formed by United Way chapters across Colorado to help people affected by last month’s deadly and devastating floods.
“Coloradans unite during crisis — so does the music community,” Gov. John Hickenlooper said in a statement. “We are thrilled so many musicians are coming together for this flood relief benefit concert. This is a great way to highlight recovery efforts and raise money at the same time. We are grateful AEG Live, Live Nation and other community partners are stepping up to help Colorado communities impacted by the historic flooding.”
