Almost 14,000 without power in Boulder County

BOULDER, Colo. — A power outage has caused almost 13,900 people in Boulder County to lose power Tuesday morning.

According to the Daily Camera, Xcel reported the power outage around 9 a.m. It stretches from Table Mesa north to Baseline Road between Broadway and 30th Street.

Xcel reported the problem was caused by a problem at a substation. The energy company expects the problem to be fixed quickly.
