Pedestrians injured in 3 different crashes in metro area

DENVER — At least four people were hurt in three different incidents of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian Thursday night.

Two of the crashes happened in Denver. One happened in Commerce City.

One of the Denver crashes was at S. Federal Boulevard and Floyd Street. Denver police said a pedestrian was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries there.

The driver stayed at the scene, police said.

Another crash happened at Interstate 76 and Federal. Police there said two people were hit by a white SUV that left the scene.

Neither person was seriously injured.

Police said the SUV left the scene headed west on I-76.

A teenager was hit by a vehicle near E. 74th Avenue and Brighton Boulevard.

The third incident happened at E. 74th Avenue and Brighton Boulevard.

Police there said a teen was crossing the street around 5 p.m. and was hit. The driver stopped at the scene as was cooperating with police.
