Police seeking dangerous Colorado Springs kidnapping suspects


COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police were looking Sunday for a pair of dangerous suspects who allegedly kidnapped two people in Colorado Springs.

The victims were allegedly taken by three people on Friday from the 300 block of South 18th Street, the Colorado Springs Police Department said. The victims were later released, but one had sustained non-life-threatening injuries, CSPD reported.

Two of the kidnappers are believed to be Timothy Ray Vigil, 32; and Suzanne Cherri Capretz, 29, CSPD said. The third suspect, a male, remains unidentified.

Vigil is a white male, 6’2”, weighing 200 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Capretz is a white female, 5’8”, weighing 170 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes, police said.

A warrant has been issued for the two known suspects. They should be considered armed and dangerous.
