Crock Pot Pork Sliders & Baked Beans

Pulled Pork Sliders:

Slider Buns
Cabbage Slaw (or not).
Pulled Pork

Pulled Pork:

5 lbs. Boneless Pork Butt or Shoulder
1 med. Onion Diced
2 cloves garlic- smashed
2 tsp. Salt

2 Tbsp. Paprika
1 tsp. Black pepper
1 qrt. Pork Stock

or 1/2 Cup Western Daughters Dry Rub

1 cup adobo sauce or bbq sauce

Sear pork in a hot skillet, browning all sides. In remaining fat, cook onions until tender. Transfer pork to the crock pot and cook on medium for 6 hours. Separate or “pull” pork with two forks. Add the adobo or bbq sauce and cook for 2 more hours in pot.

Baked Beans

1 Smoked Ham Hock or Trotter
1 Medium Onion, diced
3 c. Beans, either dry and soaked or canned
1 cup pureed tomato
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 Tbsp salt.

Add to crock pot and cook for 5-7 hours. Remove and season to taste.
