Die-hard fans offering everything from ATVs to jewelry … even airline tickets or tickets to other events. You name it, you can probably trade it.
The market for bartering is wide open on sites like Craig’s List.
Ticket brokers like Candy Lewis say buying from a reputable source is much more secure. “Anything that seems too good to be true … I’d be really scared about it and not do it,” she says.
But some fans are willing to take the risk.
“I mean you don’t get this opportunity very often, so when you do, you better take advantage of it. You don’t know how long it’s going to be until the next time,” one fan says.
The Broncos have also issued a warning about counterfeit tickets. If you decide you have no other choice but to get the tickets by trading, ask the seller for hard tickets and a confirmation number from Ticketmaster. Avoid the “print out” tickets that can often be fake.
