DENVER — The list of restaurants participating in Denver Restaurant Week, the biggest event of its kind in the nation and one of the Mile High City’s biggest events each year, were scheduled to be released Wednesday.
According to the Denver.org, the restaurants were finishing up the registration process on Wednesday morning, with the list expected to be released on its website at 9 a.m.. This year’s first Restaurant Week will take place from Feb. 22-28.
The involved restaurants, which are typically scattered throughout the Denver metro area, will offer multi-course dinners for $30 per person during Restaurant Week. That is a bump up from the traditional $26.40 per person fee.
The event achieved its size status as the largest restaurant week in the country two years ago, when 339 restaurants participated in the two-week affair. More than 300 restaurants are expected to participate in 2014.
There will be a second Denver Restaurant Week later in the year to accommodate the still-growing event. That second week is currently scheduled for August 23-29.
