BOULDER, Colo. — A 20-year-old female was sexually assaulted in Boulder early Saturday morning, reported the Boulder Police Department.
The victim was walking alone in the area of E. Euclid Avenue and 30th Street shortly before 3 a.m. when she was pushed to the ground from behind by an unknown man, said police. The suspect sexually assaulted her as she screamed for help.
A resident in a nearby home heard the woman’s scream and contacted police.
The suspect fled the scene and was last seen running towards 30th Street, said police.
Investigators described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 20s, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-6 and of medium build. He had short, dark hair in a “spiked” style with a full mustache and long sideburns. He also wore wire-rimmed glasses, a dark hooded sweater with white lettering and carried a dark-colored backpack.
The victim suffered minor physical injuries and was taken to the hospital for a SANE test, said police.
