LINDENHURST, Ill. — A man received a heartbreaking reminder about the death of his teenage daughter in his mail box from OfficeMax recently.

Mike Seay of Lindenhurst, Ill. says the office supply store sent him a piece of “junk mail” that was addressed to “Daughter Killed in Car Crash.”

The Los Angeles Times reports Seay’s 17-year-old daughter was killed in a crash  last year.

He is concerned about why OfficeMax’s marketing mailer would know that piece of information about him.

OfficeMax blames a mailing list from a third party provider.
