CANTON, Ohio — The Super Bowl trophy is already on its way to New York, the site of Super Bowl XLVIII.

FOX 8 in Cleveland reports that organizers at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton sent the famous piece of hardware on its way Monday.

The Vince Lombardi trophy was taken out of its display case care packed away for shipping.

It’s the exact trophy that will go to the Broncos if they win the big game. You can watch it on FOX31 Denver Feb. 2 with kickoff taking place at 4:25 p.m. MT.

Caretakers at the Hall of Fame immediately unpacked the trophy for the next year’s Super Bowl XLIX.
