Boulder police search for bank robbery suspect
BOULDER, Colo. — A man robbed a FirstBank in Boulder Tuesday and, now, police are asking the public’s help in locating the suspect.
At approximately 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, a man entered the FirstBank at 4520 Broadway and demanded money from the tellers, said Boulder police.
Employees did as they were told, said police. The man then fled the scene, using the northeast doors of the bank.
Detectives reported no injuries, and said the suspect did not appear to possess or threaten to use a weapon.
The suspect was described as a white male in his forties, 5-foot-8 to 6-foot, heavy build, no facial hair and no distinct accent. He wore a light-colored Columbia nylon shell jacket with dark blue stripes on the arms. The suspect was also dressed in a black and gold cap, possibly with the logo from the Iowa Hawkeyes, and blue pants.
