DENVER — The Denver District Attorney’s Office filed charges Friday against a couple accused of running a prostitution scheme.

Joshua Billingslea, 33, and Diana Billingslea, 29, were each charged with five counts of human trafficking, one count of pimping, one count of keeping a place of prostitution and one count of pandering, said Lynn Kimbrough of the Denver DA’s office.

“The charges allege that the couple committed trafficking in adults by leasing women for prostitution purposes,” Kimbrough said. “The charges further allege that they were running a prostitution business under the guise of a massage business.”

Both have been released on a $25,000 bond. They are scheduled to next appear in court on Feb. 27.
