LOVELAND, Colo. — A 41-year-old Greeley man was killed in the parking lot of a Loveland recreation center Sunday following an argument with another man on a charter bus, the Loveland Police Department said.

Billy Page was a passenger on a private charter bus dropping customers off in the parking lot of Chilson Recreation Center following a trip to Black Hawk, LPD said. During the bus ride, Page reportedly argued with another passenger, 32-year-old Cory Nix of Loveland.

As passengers were getting off the bus at the rec center shortly before 2 p.m., Nix attacked Page, LPD said. The victim suffered traumatic blunt-force injuries and was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, police said.

Nix initially left the scene, but then returned to talk with police. He was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder, LPD said.
