DENVER — A Dallas-based firm has bought Denver’s iconic Brown Palace Hotel & Spa, the company announced Wednesday.
The hotel, built in 1892, is one of downtown Denver’s most recognized buildings and was put up for sale in September.
The hotel, and the adjacent Comfort Inn have a total of 472 rooms.
Terms of the sale have not been released.
“We are pleased to add this landmark establishment to our Fund VI portfolio. The Brown Palace Hotel is well-aligned with Crow Holdings Capital’s hotel investment strategy, which is focused on upscale assets with strong underlying fundamentals,” said Diane Parmerlee, Crow Holdings Capital’s Director of Hotel Investments.
