Police investigate aggravated robbery at Boulder massage center

BOULDER, Colo. — A man robbed a Boulder massage center at gunpoint Thursday.

According to Boulder police, at approximately 3:43 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into Massage Specialists at 1640 Broadway and demanded an employee give him cash.

The employee told police the suspect was a Hispanic male. She said she greeted him as he entered the lobby, after which he looked around for a few minutes and then made a call on his cell phone.

As the employee turned her attention back to work, the man approached her with a handgun and demanded she give him cash, said police.

The employee complied, and the suspect fled the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Detectives described the suspect as a Hispanic male with a dark complexion, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, overweight and possibly weighing 250 pounds, bald, some facial hair under his lower lip and between 30- and 35-years-old.

He wore a gray pullover hooded jacket with a maroon T-shirt underneath and jeans, added detectives.
