Police: Jordan Road in Parker reopens after crash

PARKER, Colo. — A car accident at Jordan Road and Main Street in Parker Saturday afternoon forced police to shut down Jordan Road in both directions, according to the Parker Police Department.

Shortly before 3 p.m. Saturday, Parker police tweeted that Jordan Road had been closed north and southbound due to a car crash.

Police advised motorists to take alternative routes.

In a Facebook post, police later reported that several involved parties had been transported to a nearby hospital, and northbound Jordan Road remained closed at Main Street.

Shortly before 5:15 p.m., Parker police tweeted that the accident had been cleared and Jordan Road was open in both directions.

Police could only confirm that five people had been transported to a nearby hospital and, as of 5:20 p.m. did not have updates on their conditions.
