Cutthroats hockey fans building fun tradition when team scores
DENVER — This is only the second season for the Denver Cutthroats, the latest minor league hockey team to call Denver home.
They are poised to make their first playoff appearance in the Central Hockey League.
They play in the Denver Coliseum which usually includes more empty seats than occupied ones, but the few and the faithful are loud and proud.
The Cutthroats also have one of the newest and best sports traditions in Colorado sports.
After every Cutthroats goal, fans start running around the concourse inside the stadium. It’s quirky and quickly becoming one of the best traditions in Colorado sports, one lap at a time.
