DENVER — A Denver jury returned a guilty verdict Tuesday for a man charged in a 2010 burglary case.

Brandon Campbell, 29, was found guilty of second-degree burglary and criminal trespass Tuesday, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

On April 15, 2010, Campbell broke into a house in the 14900 block of E. 50th Place through a rear sliding door, said the DA’s Office. He stole jewelry and electronics from the home.

DNA found on an open can of Cherry Crush in the house linked Campbell to the crime, said the DA’s Office.

Campbell has a number of previous conviction for burglary, trespassing, theft by receiving and parole violations.

The DA said the serial burglar now faces up to 48 years in jail and will receive his sentence on April 24 at 1:30 p.m. in a Denver District Courtroom.
