DENVER — A victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a hit-and-run accident Saturday morning at Iliff Avenue and Race Street.

According to a tweet posted at 9:22 a.m. from the Denver Police Department, officers were on the scene of a hit-and-run accident at Iliff Avenue and Race Street, from which a victim had been transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

The crash happened at approximately 7:25 a.m. Saturday, said police.

DPD added that the suspect vehicle was a silver four-door sedan, and may be missing its passenger-side mirror.

Shortly after noon, police released a photograph of a car they believe was involved with the accident.
