Broomfield Police seeking purse thieves who went gambling

BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Broomfield Police are seeking two female suspects who stole a woman’s purse, went gambling in Black Hawk and are still using the woman’s information to access her bank accounts.

Police say the suspects went into the Broomfield fitness center on Feb. 26 and took the keys to a vehicle belonging to a customer. They then went to the vehicle and stole her purse.

The suspects were later seen on surveillance cameras in Black Hawk using the victim’s information and checking account to gamble. Police say the suspects were wearing black wigs at the casino.

Since then, police say the suspects as well as a male have made several additional transactions with the victim’s bank account information.

Police describe the first suspect as a “White heavy set female with blonde shoulder length hair, 160-180 pounds. This is the same heavy set female in the casino surveillance photo wearing a black wig and a sweatshirt that reads ‘Full Metal Choppers.’”

They describe the second suspect as a “White slender female with what appears to be red shoulder length hair, approximately 130 pounds. This is the same female in the casino surveillance photo wearing a pink shirt under a black coat, a grey baseball style hat and a black wig.”

Police describe the male as a “White slender male with shorter dark colored hair. He is wearing a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans, black shoes, and carrying a small female child.”

Anyone with information about the individuals is asked to call the Broomfield Police Department at 303-464-5764.
