COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — A suspect in a Colorado Springs triple shooting turned himself into police Wednesday.

Miguel Alvarado-Menchaca, 17, turned himself in at the Police Operations Center at about 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Colorado Springs Police Department said in a Facebook post.

Police identified Alvarado-Menchaca as a suspect in a triple shooting that occurred on March 19 around 9:30 p.m. on University Drive near the Valley Hi Golf Club.

He was wanted on three counts of first-degree attempted murder and remained at large until he turned himself in Wednesday.

In Wednesday’s Facebook post, CSPD said it is not currently seeking any other suspects in this case, but the investigation remains on-going.
