Crews working to bring downed Ridgway Reservoir plane, victims to shore

RIDGWAY, Colo. — Recovery of a plane that crashed into Ridgway Reservoir in southwest Colorado continued Thursday.

The single-engine Socata TBM700 went down with five passengers on board about 1:50 p.m. Saturday. Divers and rescue crews found the plane Monday. But Ouray County officials said recovery was slowed until an aviation salvage team could arrive at the site to help with recovery.
