Wind to subside Monday night, light snow possible overnight

DENVER — Snow showers could develop late Monday into Tuesday especially from Denver north to the Wyoming border. That’s as the strong wind slowly subsides Monday night across Denver and the Front Range.

“I can’t rule out some light accumulation of less than an inch and mainly on grassy areas,” says Chief Meteorologist Dave Fraser.

Tuesday will bring some sunshine, seasonal temperatures and more wind, just not as strong and gusty as Monday.

“We are expecting more rain on Wednesday that will mix with and then change to all snow by Thursday. Accumulation of several inches is possible with this next approaching cold front,” Fraser says.

We’ll dry out by Friday and Saturday only to have more rain and snow by the end of the weekend.
