Greenwood Village police warn residents after series of home burglaries

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — A number of home burglaries have been reported in Greenwood Village over the span of a week.

According to the Greenwood Village Police Department, four homes were broken into between March 31 and April 7.

The robberies occurred during the day and early evening hours, said police.

Detectives added that the suspects entered the homes through both front and back locked doors. Item stolen included home electronics, jewelry and other household goods.

Police issued a reminder, urging Greenwood Village residents to make sure all doors and windows are locked at all time. They also said residents with home alarm systems should be sure to set them.
