DENVER — The NFL is investigating whether Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning and offensive coordinator Adam Gase violated a ruled in the Collective Bargaining Agreement during a visit to the University of Alabama.
The league does not allow players having individual meetings with coaches before teams begin their offseason workouts.
Earlier this week, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban hosed the two and said they had a mutually beneficial meeting talking no-huddle, hurry-up offense football.
But Friday, Saban Told the Denver Post he met with them independently.
If there were any rule violations, discipline would be decided by the league.
