DENVER — Denver police issued citations for licensing violations to security guards Saturday at the 4/20 rally in downtown Denver.

The Denver Police Department tweeted out a photo Saturday afternoon with the caption, “Issuing citations for licensing violations for security guards.”

DPD spokeswoman Raquel Lopez confirmed to Channel 2 News that the citations were issued because the security guards did not have the required City of Denver merchant license for this particular event.
