Weld Co. deputies search for missing at-risk Greeley man

GREELEY, Colo. — An at-risk Greeley man went missing Saturday.

Kenneth “Kenny” Jewett was last seen Saturday near the intersection of Highway 14 and Highway 257 just north of Windsor, according to the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said he is believed to have left the area on a blue bicycle, heading southbound on Highway 257. They added that the at-risk adult is known to frequent businesses in the Windsor area.

Authorities described Jewett as a white male, about 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a light plaid shirt, blue jeans, dark heavy boots and dark sunglasses. Jewett may also be wearing a fishing-style round hat with a full brim, said deputies.

While deputies do not believe Jewett is dangerous, they said he may be resistant in requesting or accepting help from unknown persons.
