LITTLETON, Colo. – Police will continue the search for two prison escapees Monday morning. The men were serving time for drug convictions.

The men left the prison at South Kipling Street and West Quincy Avenue on Saturday night.

Noel Valdovines, 22, is described as 5-foot-11 and weighing 175 pounds. Christopher Ramirez-Reyna, 27, is 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds.

Both are serving time for possession of methamphetamine. Valdovines was scheduled to get out of prison in 2019 and Ramirez-Reyna in 2018.

Neighbors in the area say they’re on edge not knowing where the prisoners are.

There are lots of children in the neighborhood who play at a nearby park and there are lots of places someone could hide.

The prison is a minimum security work camp. Valdovines and Ramirez-Reyna are both listed as nonviolent offenders.

They were discovered as missing during the evening headcount.

It’s the first successful escape from the prison since 2011.

Anyone with information should contact  police immediately.
