WASHINGTON — The Royal Maces of Strike Fighter Squadron 27 filmed their F/A-18E Super Hornets flying in the Pacific and passing snow-covered mountains in a trailer for its 27-minute film of their 2013-14 deployment.

The high-definition footage comes from cockpits at various locations while the squadron was deployed aboard the USS George Washington, according to Stars & Stripes.

The full video will debut this weekend at NAF Atsugi’s Spring Festival.

Lt. David Tarr assembled the video with help from other pilots who purchased and mounted their own cameras.
