Police investigate apparent home invasion robbery in west Denver

DENVER — Police responded to an apparent home invasion robbery in west Denver on Wednesday morning.

According to police, the suspect entered the home at 534 Raleigh St. and was confronted by the homeowner. The homeowner fired a shot at the suspect, who fled on foot. Police don’t believe the suspect was shot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds. He was wearing a navy blue beanie, gray hoodie, stonewashed jeans and tan construction boots.

The homeowner was not injured, and police are continuing their investigation.
