Hit-and-run in Wheat Ridge kills one person
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A hit-and-run crash involving three vehicles in Wheat Ridge Friday night killed one person, according to police.
It happened at W. 32nd Avenue and Kipling Street.
Police say Kipling will be closed in both directions for several hours while they conduct their investigation.
A woman and two children in the suspect’s vehicle were injured and taken to the hospital. Police say the driver who caused the crash ran from the scene and left the three of them behind.
One person in a second vehicle was killed.
One person in the third vehicle in the crash was not hurt.
