Denver police looking for green Cadillac in connection with double shooting

DENVER — Denver police were called to a liquor store in west Denver Tuesday afternoon.

According to a tweet, officers were called to the area of W. 38th Avenue and Clay Street on a report of a double shooting around 2:30 p.m.

Police said that two men were taken to a local hospital. Their conditions have not been released.

Officers were looking for a green Cadillac with gold trim along with a Hispanic, heavy-set, bald male with tattoos who was wearing a white t-shirt. Police say a Hispanic woman may also be in the car.

The intersection was closed in all directions till about 3:30 p.m. while police investigated.
