Vote for best moon art shot as part of NASA survey

WASHINGTON — NASA wants you to vote on its best moon shot for a new site called “The Moon As Art.”

It’s a celebration of the fifth anniversary of NASA’s lunar reconnaissance orbiter, which has been mapping the moon’s surface and studying clues to the moon’s evolution.

NASA has released five of the thousands of images the LRO has sent back and wants the public to pick the cover photo. You can vote until June 6 and the winning photo will be revealed June 18.
