Police locate vehicle involved in US 36 hit-and-run

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — A man was seriously injured while riding his motorcycle along Highway 36 Saturday when a vehicle struck him from behind.

The Westminster Police Department said David Nazeri was hit by a car Saturday while he was attempting to exit the highway on his motorcycle.

The driver of the vehicle did not stop and stay on scene to provide help to Nazeri, detectives said.

Police announced Tuesday that they had located the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run incident.

As of Tuesday morning, Nazeri remained in critical condition.

    Its time to find these people who think its fine to “HIT AND RUN ” and do something more than a slap on the hand. These people need to be held accountable,they have no respect for anyone’s life. Until someone is made to PAY for this type of behavior, we will continue to see this on out streets and highways.
